Famous Crackers--Never the same--But Always good!
--If you follow the recipe at least a little!!! ( :
One Variation:
17 Cups Spelt Flour.
7 Cups Kamut Flour.
2 1/2 Tablespoons Salt.
2 Cups Coconut Oil. (Melted)
7 Cups really warm Water.
Another Variation:
25 Cups Spelt Flour.
2 Heaping Tablespoons Salt/2 1/2 TBS.
1 1/2 Cup Coconut Melted Oil.
9 Cups Water/ Enough Water to make a soft dough. (Hot water makes a great soft dough, you may need to adjust the amount though)
Instructions:
Combine these in a large mixing bowl staring with the dry ingredients and stir together until you have a nice soft dough, then roll out thin on a pan, (about 1/3 inch thick, depending on whether you want crispy crackers or more of a soft moist bead type cracker, if you want crispy crackers, make them thinner.) or mold into a biscuit shape and bake at 350F until you can slightly push down the dough, and it jumps right back up. Don't wait until they are brown, they will probably be over done by then.
As always... Enjoy!
