Mom's Famous Crackers (Oat Variation)
Mom's Cracker Recipe
In a large bowl thoroughly mix:
6 cups of spelt flour4 cups of rolled oat flakes ground to flour (in a blender or food processor)
4 teaspoons of salt
Set your oven to preheat to 350 degrees.
Melt 1 cup of coconut oil and pour it into the bowl of flour and pour 2 1/2 cups of warmish water into the bowl also, and mix well. Roll out onto oiled cookie sheets and bake for 15 minutes and then check if they are dry enough for your liking. Or just turn off the oven and leave them in it to finish drying out while it cools down.
